Infrastructure Monitoring & Management Service (IMMS)

 

The Richardson Eyres IMMS service combines our proven technical capabilities on HP datacentre technology and VMware with dedicated operational support, all delivered to contracted service levels on response times.

IMMS is designed to maintain the stability, availability and operational effectiveness of the IT environment, whilst giving IT staff complete flexibility to control their destiny.

The purpose of this introduction is to outline what is possible. Should a customer wish to explore the offerings further, Richardson Eyres would be delighted to put together a proposal based on a bespoke services contract.

What is IMMS?

Richardson Eyres offer a suite of infrastructure management and monitoring services under the heading of IMMS (Infrastruture Management & Monitoring Service), which utilise our core skills as a multi-award winning infrastructure provider.

A Richardson Eyres IMMS contract can be delivered as either Proactive or Reactive service.

Proactive IMMS is designed to:

  • Make every effort to ensure core systems stay healthy and available.Examples of this are remote monitoring, health checks, version control services and qualitative analysis of vendor advisories and support statements.
  • Ensure systems perform and scale effectively. Examples of this type of service is capacity planning, provisioning and expansion; performance monitoring and optimisation; and programme-managed updates and upgrades.

Reactive IMMS is designed to:

  • Make every effort to ensure that should core systems experience fundamental failures they return to a steady state in the shortest possible time with the minimum material impact. Examples of this are 24 x 7 Emergency Cover with 1st and 2nd Line operational assistance in fault finding, issue resolution, vendor liaison and escalation management.

Reactive IMMS also includes providing cover for less critical issues where peer review is required. Examples of this are change management and documentation.

IMMS Service Contracts
